LOOK GOOD...FEEL BETTER PROGRAM

For most people, hair loss from chemotherapy and physical side effects of cancer treatment are devastating – especially for women.

John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital has teamed up with the American Cancer Society and local cosmetologist Phyllis Hiers, an area Look Good…Feel Better facilitator, to offer the free Look Good…Feel Better program for women who have been diagnosed with cancer.

ONCOLOGY GROUNDBREAKING

On May 12th at 1:00 p.m., a groundbreaking ceremony was held at the corner of Broad Street and Grant Street to officially kickoff the construction effort of the new Lewis Hall Singletary Oncology Center.  The Center will be completed in 2010.

ARCHBOLD OFFERS DIGITAL MAMMOGRAPHY SERVICES ON SATURDAYS

One in eight women in America will get breast cancer.  Fortunately, the Archbold Women’s Center is making the detection of breast cancer more accessible for women.

Starting Saturday, April 18, the Women’s Center will offer the convenience of digital mammograms one Saturday each month from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. As demand for the weekend service increases, the center will offer mammograms on additional Saturdays each month.
