64 Slice Volume CT Scanner
The LightSpeed VCT allows physicians to detect heart disease by performing cardiac calcium scoring and coronary angiography to identify buildup of calcium in the walls of the coronary arteries. In seconds, the state-of-the-art 64-slice scanner can produce an image of a patient’s coronary arteries and the calcium that may lie inside. Additionally, the scanner produces a picture indicating future risk for heart disease.
