Tree of Lights

Camp HEAL (Healing and Encouragement After Loss) sponsored by Hospice of Southwest Georgia, is a day camp held anually and is free of charge to children ages 6-13 who are dealing with the death of a loved one.
Art Off The Wall
“Art Off The Wall”—an event hosted in partnership by Thomasville Center for the Arts, Archbold Memorial Hospital and the Archbold Foundation Was held on Thursday, March 15.
Attendees viewed the featured collection of art, from artists throughout the southeast, and made donations to the Foundation in honor of friends or loved ones, to help purchase the art for Archbold Memorial Hospital’s new North Tower. The artwork will enhance the healing environment.
Forty-five pieces of local art were designated by donors at the “art raiser,” and the event resulted in donations of more than $55,000 (to date) to the Archbold Foundation in support of artwork for the North Tower and the Art of Healing Program at Archbold Memorial Hospital.
A Pink Affair
This Friday, October 26, 2012, more than 20 area cancer survivors took to the catwalk as a living example that there is life after breast cancer in A Pink Affair, a cancer survivor benefit fashion show hosted at Archbold’s Lewis Hall Singletary Oncology Center.
Proceeds from A Pink Affair will went to a newly created Archbold Foundation fund to cover the cost for a mammogram for those unable to afford one.
