Quitman's facility breathed new life in 1987 when the Hospital Authority of Brooks County Hospital leased the facility to John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital. The hospital's affiliation with Archbold Hospital has proven to be an invaluable resource for the enhancement of the available healthcare for Brooks County citizens.
