My experience with the Cardiac Care Unit began approximately eight years ago when I was declared in need of a pacemaker. This was implemented without any complications and was worn for seven years. One year ago it was replaced without any problems by my cardiologist. I have found the Cardiac Care Unit to be caring, professional and available to me at all times. The physicians, nurses and personnel go beyond the call of duty.
