Archbold's Hospice Receives Award

Archbold's Hospice of Southwest Georgia has been awarded "Premier Performer" status by the Strategic Healthcare Programs (SHP) for achieving an overall caregiver and family satisfaction score that ranked in the top 5% for the 2021 calendar year.

The annual SHPBest award program was created to acknowledge hospice providers that consistently provide high-quality service to families and caregivers of patients receiving hospice care. The 2021 award recipients were determined by reviewing and ranking the overall CAHPS Hospice benchmarks in the nation. SHP is in a unique position to identify and recognize organizations that have prioritized family and caregiver satisfaction and have been rewarded for their efforts with high marks on the CAHPS Hospice survey.

"This award is a testament to our team members and how they truly care for our patients and their families," said Sheri Walters, administrator at Hospice of Southwest Georgia. "It's rewarding to see our staff's efforts recognized, and I'm so proud of what our team has accomplished."

"Hospice is a unique service line set up to serve families as a whole, not just a patient," said Jamie Womack, Vice President Critical Access/Post-Acute Services. "To be recognized nationally for their efforts and commitment to providing high-quality care is an outstanding achievement."
