Archbold Medical Group providers offer convenient virtual visits to our patients. No matter where you are, your provider can help you with a variety of primary and specialty care needs. All you need is an internet connection and a device with a video camera and microphone, such as a laptop, tablet or smartphone.
To schedule a telehealth visit, call your provider’s office.
Now, more than ever before, people are learning of the benefits of telemedicine. Traditionally, when patients had a medical issue or concern, they’d call their primary care provider or local health clinic, schedule an appointment, and then travel to the office or clinic to receive care. With improvements in video technology and security, doctors are now able to treat their patients virtually.
AMG Telehealth allows you to video chat with your doctor face-to-face. Even though you aren’t in the same office, your doctor can see you and observe any symptoms firsthand, thus allowing for a more accurate diagnosis. Telehealth services are especially helpful if you need to discuss a condition with your doctor but don’t need a physical exam. Your doctor can review your health information, discuss your diagnosis and treatment options, and answer any questions you may have.
During your visits, all data is encrypted, your sessions are anonymous, and none of your information is stored. We adhere to HIPAA privacy requirements.
Telemedicine can be used for diagnosing many health concerns. AMG Telehealth offers access to primary care, urgent care and specialty care providers.

Most commercial insurance plans cover virtual visits just as they would an in-office visit with your doctor, but speak with your insurer to confirm. In advance of the visit, you will receive an email to check in through a secure online platform. As with any office visit, we will collect the normal copay amount during the check-in process. After your virtual visit, we will submit a claim to your insurance carrier for full payment. If the service is not covered by your insurance, we will work with you to set up an affordable payment plan.
Consider the following tips to be better prepared for your telehealth visit:
