The Archbold Women’s Center offers patients densitometry, also known as a DEXA scan or Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry. The simple and painless procedure is the most accurate method for evaluating bone mass and detecting osteoporosis. Your physician will determine if you are a candidate for this test by assessing your risk factors.
