Archbold Memorial Recognized Among Top Hospitals in Georgia

Georgia Trend Magazine has named Archbold Memorial as one of the best large hospitals in the state. The hospital in Thomasville is ranked as one of the top three large hospitals located south of Macon.

Georgia Trend Magazine defines a large hospital as one with more than 250 patient beds. Archbold Memorial has made the magazine’s prestigious list for five consecutive years and 11 of the last 13 years.

The information used to compile the rankings was based on publicly reported data acquired from the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The rankings are based on information in four areas: clinical outcomes, person and community engagement, safety and efficiency and cost reduction.

Archbold Memorial tied for 14^th in the ranking of best large hospitals in the state and was in the top six among those located outside of Metro Atlanta.
