Hospital medicine is a form of inpatient care that involves managing the medical needs of hospitalized patients, both diagnostically and therapeutically. Our hospitalists at Archbold have the experience and training necessary to provide personalized, effective care to all of our hospitalized patients.
From initial admission through recovery and discharge, our hospitalists will be with you every step of the way, closely monitoring and responding to changes in your condition, as needed. Hospitalists are physicians who provide comprehensive care to patients who are admitted to the hospital. Their daily responsibilities include diagnosing and managing illnesses, as well as providing procedural care and counselling patients about their health. Additionally, hospitalists are responsible for coordinating with other healthcare professionals such as specialists, pharmacists, and nurses to ensure that each patient receives the most effective care.
