Archbold Welcomes New Chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Luis Wulff, MD

Archbold is proud to welcome pulmonologist and intensivist Luis Wulff, MD, as the new Chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Archbold Pulmonology. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine, Dr. Wulff brings extensive expertise and a passion for delivering the highest quality pulmonary care to Southwest Georgia.

Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Dr. Wulff emigrated to Miami, Florida, where he earned a medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed an internship at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center, then a residency in internal medicine at Cleveland Clinic Florida- where he discovered a passion for treating complex patient cases. Dr. Wulff completed a fellowship in pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine at the University of South Florida, Tampa General Hospital and Moffitt Cancer Center, where he gained specialized training in pulmonary vascular disease, including pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary fibrosis through the Tampa General Center for Advanced Disease and Lung Transplant.

“I moved to Southwest Georgia to bring specialized pulmonary care of the highest quality to the region,” says Dr. Wulff. “By joining the Archbold health system, we have an opportunity to elevate pulmonary and critical care medicine for our patients and help Archbold become the beacon for pulmonary medicine in the region.”

Dr. Wulff will begin seeing patients at Archbold Pulmonology in May 2025, transitioning his outpatient practice from McIntosh Clinic while continuing to provide care at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Archbold Pulmonology, located in Thomasville with a satellite clinic in Quitman, offers comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of lung and respiratory conditions.
