Archbold Emergency Nurses Earn CEN Certification

In an ongoing commitment to excellence in patient care, Archbold has taken proactive steps to support the professional growth of its Emergency Department nurses. From November 2024 to March 2025, Archbold sponsored a Certified Emergency Nurses (CEN) review course designed for registered nurses.

Accredited by the Board of Certification for Emergency Nurses, the CEN credential is a nursing specialty certification for nurses working in emergency departments and across the emergency spectrum.

By investing in this program, Archbold is not only supporting the continued education of its nurses, but also raising the overall standard of care provided to patients. CEN-certified nurses bring advanced clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and confidence to emergency situations.

“We’re proud of our nurses and their commitment to professional excellence,” said Amy Griffin, Senior Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer at Archbold. “This certification is a direct reflection to their dedication to continual learning and providing the safest, most effective care for our community.”
