Archbold Offering After-Hour Mammograms in October

Breast cancer is the second most common cause of cancer death in U.S. women—but when caught early, it’s also one of the most treatable.

Mammography is the most effective diagnostic tool available to detect breast cancer early and can sometimes identify an abnormal mass up to three years before a lump can be felt.

“Screening mammograms help us detect cancer at its earliest stages, which increases your chance of survival if you’re diagnosed with breast cancer,” said Michele Norton, RT, RMBS, Director of the Archbold Women’s Center.

“The majority of women diagnosed with breast cancer have no family history of the disease,” said Brandi Lanier, Radiologist at Archbold. “Breast MRI is an additional tool we use for women with certain risk factors or for women with dense breasts who desire additional screening.”

The Archbold Women’s Center understands that scheduling can be a challenge. That's why they’re offering after-hours screening mammogram appointments on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
