Navigating healthcare can become increasingly complex with age, making it essential for patients to feel informed, prepared, and confident when visiting their healthcare providers. Archbold’s upcoming Health Talk featuring Dr. Savitri Ramdial aims to provide practical guidance to help individuals take a more active role in their care.
Dr. Ramdial’s presentation, “Aging Well: Getting the Most Out of Your Doctor Visits,” will focus on improving communication between patients and providers. The presentation will offer clear, actionable strategies for making the most of medical appointments.
Topics will include how to prepare in advance of visits, which questions are most important to ask, and how to ensure that care decisions align with each patient’s individual needs, values, and priorities. Attendees will gain tools to better understand their health and advocate for themselves within today’s healthcare system.
The free health talk is open to community members, and will take place on Tuesday, April 28 at 6pm in Williams Auditorium at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Dinner will be served.
