Thomas Named Assistant Administrator of Archbold Brooks

Archbold is pleased to announce the promotion of Kortney Thomas, RN, MSN, to Assistant Administrator and Director of Nursing at Archbold Brooks.

Thomas graduated from Southwest Georgia Technical College as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2002 and received an Associate of Science in nursing in 2005. She completed a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2013 and a masters in nursing administration in 2020, both at Thomas University.

Thomas began her career with Archbold Brooks in 2000 as a Patient Access Representative. In the 24 years since, she has remained with Archbold Brooks as a staff nurse, Assistant Nurse Manager, Nurse Manager, Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Nursing.

“Kortney has excelled in her roles throughout the years and has proven to be a leader and mentor for many at Archbold Brooks,” said June Furney, Archbold Brooks administrator.

Archbold Brooks is a 25-bed acute care hospital located in Quitman, Georgia. The facility, affiliated with Archbold since 1987, offers surrounding communities convenient access to advanced medical technology and high-quality healthcare services.
