Live Better, the Archbold-led community health initiative, is hosting the 9th annual Live Better Pink Run, which includes a 5K and 1-mile fun run for kids, to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Lewis Hall Singletary Archbold Cancer Center.
The event will help promote the link between obesity and cancer, as well as the early detection of breast cancer and overall healthy living.
“We’re so excited for this year’s Pink Run,” said Todd Bennett, Archbold Clinical Outreach Manager. “This is one of our most well-attended events, and we can’t wait to see everyone out at the Lewis Hall Singletary Archbold Cancer Center.”
The races will take place on Saturday, October 4, beginning at 7:45am.
For the 5K, awards will be given to the top finishers in each age category, as well as the overall top male and female finisher. For the one-mile, an award will be given to the overall male and female finisher between grades K-5, as well as the top finishers in grades K-5. Teams with the most members and the most creative name will also receive awards. All participants will receive a long-sleeve Pink Run shirt.
Registration for the Live Better Pink Run is open and will close Friday, September 19. Archbold is only accepting online registrations, and there will be no registration on the day of the race.
