About David
Archbold welcomed gastroenterologist David Whitehead, MD, MPH, TM, to the medical staff in 2024.
Whitehead earned Bachelor of Science degrees in zoology and microbiology at the University of Georgia. He earned Master’s degrees in public health and tropical medicine, a medical degree and completed a residency in internal medicine, all at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. After residency, he went on to complete a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Tennessee - Memphis.
