A Century of Healing:
Centennial Reflections on the John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital

Opened in 1925, John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital began a century-long tradition of region-leading healthcare and community philanthropic support. While much has changed in the field of healthcare, Archbold has remained a not-for-profit organization devoted to providing safe, innovative and compassionate care for our communities.

Archbold's 100th Anniversary will be recognized with a number of commemorations and events. A leading aspect of this celebration is Archbold's centennial history book, A Century of Healing, carefully compiled by longtime Archbold physician and historian Cordell L. "Chip" Bragg, III, MD.

Community members are invited to commemorate Archbold's 100th Anniversary by becoming an underwriter of the book. By supporting the Archbold Foundation with this gift, you will continue the spirit of philanthropy first begun by John F. “Jack” Archbold when he gave the initial gift to found the hospital.

Opportunities to become an underwriter are available at four levels. All underwriters will have the opportunity to be recognized in A Century of Healing, a permanent testament to your support on this significant occasion. Gifts may be given in honor or memory of someone if desired.

Underwriter Levels

• Archbold -- $10,000
• McIntosh -- $5,000
• Watt -- $2,500
• Balfour -- $1,000
