Archbold Multispecialty & Surgery Center

A new home for Archbold Orthopedics is coming soon.

Archbold has announced plans for a 58,679 square foot facility that will provide Thomas County and the surrounding area with a high quality, cost effective and convenient orthopedic surgery option. The facility will also house several other specialties, in addition to Archbold Orthopedics, in an effort to streamline patient care and access.

The facility will be constructed between the Archbold Cancer Center and the Archbold Ambulatory Care Center. The convenient location near Archbold Memorial and other specialty services will benefit patients and providers, allowing for a continued collaborative environment on the broader Archbold campus.

The first floor will house a state-of-the-art orthopedic surgery center. The outpatient surgery center represents a continued commitment to surgical advancement at Archbold. The second floor will consist of a multispecialty clinic space providing a new, modern home for some of Archbold’s popular specialty practices.

A new 3T MRI installed in the building will offer the fastest and highest-quality imaging available. The 3 Tesla MRI produces the clearest, most detailed images and provides increased comfort to patients with its more spacious design. The technology, whose magnetic field is twice as powerful as that of conventional MRI scanners, will benefit patients in orthopedics and numerous other Archbold specialties.

Construction

Construction is slated to be completed between December 2026 and February 2027. The building's patient entrance will face Park Avenue. Construction of the Multispecialty & Surgery Center will affect vehicular traffic on Grant Street; however, pedestrian and bicycle traffic will be allowed to continue through Archbold's campus, ensuring the neighborhood remains connected to the surrounding area.
