When is Withdrawal Management Necessary?

Substance abuse can negatively impact a person's personal and professional life. When the body adapts to an addictive substance, physically and mentally, the substance becomes a life force. Withdrawal is a process in which a person frees themselves from the substance in order to begin recovery. A medically managed withdrawal is the safest way to rid the body of dangerous toxins caused by substance abuse.
