Trauma Care

Archbold Memorial is a Level III Trauma Center

Designated by the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH), Office of EMS and Trauma, this designation means that if you or a loved one are in need of trauma care, Archbold Memorial is equipped to treat or efficiently transfer you.

As a Level III Trauma Center, Archbold Memorial accepts patient transfers from facilities with fewer capabilities. Our trauma center has the ability to assess a patient, resuscitate, perform surgical intervention, provide intensive care and stabilization of injured patients, and emergency operations.

State officials completed a thorough evaluation process to ensure facility compliance with the Level III trauma standards established by the American College of Surgeons.

Trauma Care Doesn't End in the Emergency Department

Archbold understands that trauma patients require a continuum of care to achieve the best outcome possible. Our team is dedicated to not only stabilizing patients and providing them with emergency trauma care, but also offering the services and support that are necessary for a full recovery.
